Basic Needs
As we go through our everyday lives and interact with people, we encounter so many who have so little. Sometimes barely even enough to get by. Living here in the San Francisco Bay Area, we have an over population of homelessness, low income almost to the level of poverty and struggling just to make ends meet families. Having a heart for the community, we love to help feed and supply them with basic needs such as food, hygiene products, cold weather protection and special gifts like hot food gift cards.
Hygiene kits include body wash, shampoo, conditioner, wash cloth, comb, toothbrush and toothpaste. Living on the streets many of them will find a restroom where they can clean themselves up. We hand these kits out to give them the much needed items to accomplish this.
Hygiene Kits:
Food kits include non perishable food items and drinks that are easy to hand out to homeless men and woman on the streets. So many times as we drive around we see them standing on the street corners and walk by them as we go along. often times we wonder to ourselves, "What could I do to make a difference?" This is a great way to do just that. Please donate items or money today and help us to help others.
Food Kits:
Warmth kits include a blanket, hat, gloves and warm socks. The weather in the Bay Area can become unbearably cold in the fall and winter. With these kits we can not only brighten somebodies day but also help them keep warm.
Warmth Kits:
Hot food gift cards are a wonderful gift to our homeless population. What most of us take for granted, the ability to hit the drive thru on the way home on a busy day is not a reality for them. There is nothing more fulfilling then to see the excitement in the eyes of a homeless stranger when they receive a McDonald's Gift card.
