Backpacks:
Back to school time can be very stressful on low income families. School supplies, clothes and shoes don't always fit into the monthly budget from the parental aspect. The view is strongly different from the eyes of a child, it can be a stressful time from a social standard. A child's peers can be brutally forward creating a feeling of social nonacceptance in today's society. We love how much of an impact giving a new backpack filled with school supplies along with a gift card for clothes or shoes can and will make.
The Gift of Giving:
The Holiday Season is one of the toughest for anyone who is alone and without families. In December of 2015 the founders wanted to start a tradition of putting together Christmas gifts and handing them out on the streets of San Francisco. Our first year Vikki and Tim made 25 gift bags and hand delivered each one of them to a homeless individual on Christmas Day. This year we are hoping to double that amount and the volunteers who will touch the lives of someone feeling helplessly alone. Please join us this year to bring joy to someone in need.
